2 members of indigenous key community from Vernsai district of Ratanakiri province, had joined a National Agriculture Conference (NAC) at Tonle Basac II in Phnom Penh on 6th Dec 2017. The NAC was organized by NGO Forum, which participated by hundreds, those included key community’s members from all provinces in Cambodia, and NGO’s representatives. The conference brought all stakeholders, especially the Government, and community’s members, to meet and interact with each others. Basically, the affected communities had chance to bring their concern and issues for the government to aware and consider in finding solution or intervention. Other than this, the representatives from relevant Ministries had shared the Ministry’s achievements and challenges. NTFP’s Executive Director, Mr. Long Serey, was invited to share the finding and recommendations on the assessment report thanks to legal entity in Ratanakiri. The finding from legal entity assessment is kind of information for all NGOs and community’s members to take into account the capacity development for committee of legal entity.
